Record land sales in calendar year sign of renewed confidence in oil and gas sector

As of September 29, 2010, Alberta provincial oil and gas land sales of $117 million brings the total sales for the calendar year to $1.86 billion, which is more than any other year in history. This surpasses the previous record of $1.83 billion set in 2005.
